I think the devs want to make the game less of who can aimthe best but want to make you think more outside the box and force a teamto win by using team strategy and less individual skill. I think the idea of them not banning the mod is to make the game more of astrategy game.
If people who aren’t aware of / using this getcompletely annihilated every game they will just stop playing – and that isthe kind of stuff that kills a game in the end.. I’m usually on the side of mods being fairly free to do their thing ratherthan the uber-restrictive “vanilla or nothing” aproach – but this is toomuch In this type of game where aiming is 0% twitch and 100% prediction,a mod that does 80% of that prediction for you (leaving only prediction ofcourse/speed changes your enemy might make) breaks that aspect of the will make for a very flat skill-curve if most of the aiming skill ifessentially removed as a factor.I also think this will have big negative impact on casual players (andthus the userbase).
